All residents of New York State are eligible to borrow digital materials (ebooks, audiobooks, etc.) and utilize the online databases offered through the New York Public Library. Their digital collections are HUGE, and all that is required to get a library card to use them is proof of residency--scans of two pieces of mail that prove your home address.
